It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved pup Tobie. His health has been steadily declining over the past several months – old age has a way of catching up to all of us. As of late, it became apparent that he deserved better than his current condition allowed. We have been incredibly fortunate to have been blessed with his love and companionship for the past 14 1/2 years. He has left a void in our hearts that no living thing will ever replace.
With love and sorrow,
Michele, Dean, and Sitka
Tobie’s Obituary

Michele and I continued our voting and dining tradition this morning by voting and then going out for breakfast – this time at Olde Town Cafe. Normally its evening and dinner but we wanted to have time to prepare for the election bash at our place tonight. While waiting in line, we chatted with an election official that noted 600 had voted early. In the last presidential election, 2500 people voted (total) in the Town (not including the Village obviously). Interesting that nearly 25% voted early here.

Laurel joined us to see Amy and the band put on a great show! The band Arizona opened. They were quirky, but good.

We spent the day chasing, cheering, volunteering, and blogging at Ironman Wisconsin. Michele helped out with registration and body marking. Dean’s job at the finish line was to put medals on finishers – it was quite an honor. Lot’s of event pics at flickr.
Here’s a Finisher medal – the design changes every year. Kinda fun.

Bobby Z., Jess, Rocket, and Becca, hanging out after working the SBR booth at the IM Village. Bobby had just smoked the Lake Genva Half IM earlier that day - pics at flickr.

M, Roy, Jess, Rocket, Jeff, and Katie gathering at the Great Dane downtown prior to IM WI. Amazingly, this shot represents 19 Ironman events, not including the one behind the iPhone. Kind of a shame the quality of the picture is so terrible.
This weekend sees M heading to her 20th HS class reunion and watching our buddy Bobby Z. do the Lake Geneva Half IM. Dean will be helping out Jess at her SBR booth at IM Village. Both of us will be volunteering for IM Wi on Sunday and cheering on our friends. Check out the official Moresler IM WI Event Blog if you’d like to follow along.

Along with our friend Sis, we’re heading to watch friends do Ironman Louisville this weekend. Here’s a quick stop in Indianapolis for gas and pizza. For full updates on the Ironman event check out our event blog.
